An outdoor garden store, consisting of double bike store (lockable), wheelie bin store and wood store. Produced from galvanised steel angle and clad in western red cedar which will age beautifully. A neat solution to outdoor storage. Available in different lengths. 

At the heart of every home, an indoor kitchen table and bench, steel box section base primed and spray painted with a hard-wearing Signal Red matte paint. Solid oak top 30mm. 

So many great colours to choose from for these painted frames, I was really happy to work with the clients on this, and that they chose a bold colour. Available in different sizes for small city kitchens to big family homes. 

To complement it, I made a seating unit and overhead cupboards from oak veneered panel, edged and with upright supports all in solid oak. 

This unit was made with Oak-veneered panels for strength, edged in solid oak and supported with solid oak uprights. suitable for 2 diners to sit comfortably or one to curl up and read.  

Lots of essential storage too.

A small shelf along the back for mementos is a functional touch.

A staircase made for a domestic home setting, replacing an existing wooden run.

The clients also wanted a small understairs desk and floating attached shelves. Fabricated at my workshop using a mix of mig and tig welding and finished in a black spray finish and spruce treads. Matching fabricated steel handrail.

A wood and steel table, suitable for small spaces and flats, constructed from box steel section, painted and lacquered with a rich orange spray finish paint. The top is reclaimed spruce, painted and edged in reclaimed English oak.

A small coffee table I made in rectangular box section steel, matt spray finished, with a beautiful reclaimed oak top, from a very old tree by the looks of it! the oak had such beautiful features and i’d love to be able to use it all the time!

it turned out well, a beautiful handmade coffee table built locally.

Something to make climbing up to bed a little easier on the feet, this was a Solid Oak Ladder constructed for a Child's Cabin Bed -  wide rungs for comfort and secured with  foxtail wedges and finished with an all-natural Beeswax.

A recent project, making steel bases for two fantastic vintage teak tabletops for a photographer's studio, east london. Finished in a satin black sprayed finish, offsetting the wood beautifully!

The brief was to fabricate a base for this amazing slab of grey marble, with legs pitched-out in a trapezoid, steel finished in spray paint. Looks very sleek! I can fabricate a base for any existing/found/sourced table top materials, contact for a quote. 

This was a commission to make a toughened glass skylight for an aperture cut in the roof of a widebeam barge in London - this worked really well - let in so much light due to its frameless panel and fitted very nicely into the structure of the boat. It was a good, neat, modern handmade bespoke solution. 

This was an interior I put together, including this headboard I hand-painted with a selection of British seaweeds - absolutely love doing this kind of work. I like seeing pieces i’ve made as part of a bigger picture, it’s really satisfying. I love interior design for this reason. This was an outsize trestle table, 2.6m finished in baby-pink car paint, polished to a high gloss, on trestles made with  30mm threaded rod for a recent exhibition by Das Institut at the Serpentine Gallery in London. 

I love working with artists, helping to realise their creative images on the page into the gallery. 

For this project, I was asked to create 8 precision plasma screen stands with matching cladding boxes to be installed int he penthouse of the New Zealand Embassy in London. The project was fascinating because I couldn't use any fixings into the walls or ceilings...quite a challenge which I overcame with a series of custom-made extending steels to seat the units safely into window beds of this important building. 

The screens were used extensively for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.  

I also made a unit to house all the AV equipment with operator hidden out of sight. 

It was a challenging but fascinating project.

I undertake restoration work on older buildings as part of what I do, here renovating a wooden porch and decorative features on an old railway cottage in North London.

Project for a grand house in Hyde Park, the brief was to paint an evening cloudscape in a stairwell of a residency.

As a trained fine artist as well as a maker, I am sometimes asked to produce murals and wall paintings in London and the south. I really enjoy these pieces, there is a lot of theatre involved in the use of the space, it has to be striking and eye catching. I love the logistics involved too.

Working with an assistant, I worked on the scaffolding using high quality acrylic paints and consulted closely with the client to achieve their dream image for the space.

A double bed I fabricated in steel, painted with a hard-wearing enamel finish, and fitted with underbed storage for a young couple on a narrowboat in the capital, complete with storage step and chest of drawers.

This was supplied in a primer coat, all made in water-resisting wbp ply.

A set of suspended shelves for an office using reclaimed wood and wires anchored into the ceiling.

I worked on this interior of a beautiful widebeam boat - the kingsize bed, with built in storage also conceals a grand 500l water tank! the frame sits like a table base, basically, over the top of the tank, then is slatted and allows access to the tank in emergencies.

A sun deck for a widebeam on the London canals - made from tanalised decking and fitted for the camber of the steel roof.
